WHEN DOES HARVEST START IN TUNISIA?
The harvest usually begins in November and continues through February, depending upon the region and olive variety.
IS ALYA OLIVE OIL CERTIFIED EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL?
Yes, Alya olive oil is certified as an extra virgin olive oil by the Tunisian Board of Olive oil (OHN), a member of the International Olive oil Council.
IS ALYA OIL PRODUCED USING COLD PRESS EXTRACTION METHOD?
Yes, our oil is produced using the cold press extraction method. This means that during the extraction process, minimum temperature is applied in order to retain the full flavor, nutrients and anti-oxidants.
WHAT KIND OF OLIVES DOES ALYA OIL COME FROM?
Our oil comes from three different types of olives, Chemlali, Chetoui, and Ouslati. These three olives are the highest-quality Tunisian olives for olive oil production. Every olive add its own flavor to Alya.
